Guys, the mini skirt is now totally revamped for fall and it’s a trend we should all be able to get behind. Taking cues from the era that has dominated the runways and the window fronts of all my top Michigan Avenue shops for some time, the cutest iterations are denim, suede and faux leather A-line styles. They feature adorable front detailing–think lots of buttons or a strategically placed zipper– and they come in rich autumn hues, like crimson, olive green or a varying shade of ochre. Get. In. My. Closet. Seriously, do the seventies ever go out of style?

For realz tho, for fall I’m envisioning one of these skirts with either a wide-sleeve boho blouse, or a roomy sweater. But, I’m getting a little ahead of myself–these skirts are still perfect to wear for the remainder of summer with a cute white tee. xxSL
